Walking

A long day in the office, business trip, family crisis, family day out or illness? Nobody around to walk your dog? Or just fancy treating your best friend to a good walk and socialisation with some doggie friends? One offs or regular bookings available. Initially, we will meet with you in your home so that we can get to know your dog(s) and their requirements.
A maximum of six dogs are chauffeur driven, in a secure estate car, with bespoke crates, to local beauty spots such as Kenley Common and Aerodrome, Coulsdon Common, Riddlesdown Common, Foxley Woods, Whyteleafe Park and Kings Wood in Warlingham (hosting the most beautiful bluebells in May) to enjoy a mimimum of one hour exercise and fun (off lead with the owner’s permission). Older dogs or young puppies’ exercise is tailored to suit. We walk according to the weather conditions and try to find the least muddy locations in Winter and the coolest in Summer. There are always two staff members on each walk, each with a mobile phone, to help ensure the complete safety of your dog when out and about. Our walks include an element of reward based training such as:

• Recall
• Sit, Down and Stay/Wait
• Walking to heel on a loose lead
• Fetch and Retrieve
• Leave on command

and we also dissuade dogs jumping up when meeting people or chasing cyclists/ joggers/horses, etc.
We interact with the dogs through play and offer mental stimulation games to those unable to walk as far (maybe due to age, young or old, or illness/surgery). Although fun packed, our dogs are kept under control at all times and we are often complimented, by complete strangers, on how happy and well behaved the dogs are.
If necessary, dogs are cleaned and towel dried before returning home, tired but happy. Before leaving we will freshen up your dog’s water bowl and leave them with a treat or two.
Walks cost £16 for one dog; each additional dog £9 to a maximum of 4.
